DESCRIPTION:We’re kicking off our book club with “The Memo: What Women of Color Need to Know to Secure a Seat at the Table” by Minda Harts.  Thanks to the Madison Public Library we’ll have a limited number of copies to share with book club members at no cost.  \nYou’ll also have the opportunity to decorate book club-themed cookies with Miss Ella’s Cake Bar.  Guests will decorate up to 4 cookies and take home 3 pre-decorated cookies. (Please note that cookie decorating is limited to 20 guests and the suggested donation is $5.  You can make your donation at www.centerforblackwomen.org/donate)\n \nCOVID-19 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Per Public Health Madison Dane County order, everyone is required to wear a face-covering or mask in any enclosed space open to the public and will be enforced at all indoor Progress Center for Black Women gatherings.
